Holy shit, ma' brotha'! This is awesome. Did you use a backtrack for this or did you arrange it yourself? Sounds just like the original!

pearljam10 responds:

We arranged it ourselves. We tried to get it as close as possible to the original in this one.

Cool riffs and drums. But the fact that it is all fake... I'm going to have to give you 3 stars. Metal isn't a genre meant to be produced using synthesizers. Start playing some real guitar man! :)

RokaiYotama responds:

It's not finished, i do play real guitar. I just use this for tabs and keeping ideas. If you wanna hear other stuff listen to Call of the Storm by me. This is only a demo

Killer drums, man. That was an amazing drum arrangement. What program did you use?

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks! I am currently using Superior 2.0

I liked the Melody... But the percussion was way off. Didn't sync into the grove. It's also very obviously repetitive.
What DAW did you use for this?

Shrazzorr responds:

if you mean which program i use, its magix music maker mx premium

Percussion

I love the percussion in the song... I can never get a god swoosh before snare hits in my songs. I like that type of sound. What did you use?

DJ-Steeve responds:

for the drum I used vegeance essential drum sound 2 and 3.
And for the swoosh before the snare I used the method from Trancecrafter.

This can be good...

The skipping noise added really tears this tune up. It has a great build, lots of instruments at once. But lose the skipping and that really really "hard core" sounding synth in the back.

Just giving you my opinion :)

Santerio responds:

Thank you for a review that actually helps! The "Hardcore" synth in the back was supposed to add somekind of bass to the song, but apparently it is more like a synth...

Awesome!

What did you use for the trance lead? I love it!

Omnivore responds:

In Native Instruments: Massive (the vsti plugin), there is a preset called Cruithne's Orbit that I tweaked a bit to my liking (:

~FurryNG (via Ipod :P)

Awesome.

How did you get that sound? What plugin did you use? I'm loving the 8-bit sound.
Nice work.

RoccoW responds:

Actually, the whole song was written on an original Gameboy, using an EMS Cartridge with LSDJ. The sound you're hearing is pure Gameboy, with slightly enhanced volume via Audacity :) These kind of reactions are the exact reason why I like to work on a Gameboy ^^
